Monitoring and managing these systems, as well as the fire detection system installed in facilities or elements of energy infrastructure, is accomplished by using the PSIM + physical security management software. That saves costs and reduces the workload.

CONVENTIONAL ENERGETICS

Devices used in critical infrastructure facilities, such as power plants or gas plants, should not only be reliable and resistant to mechanical damage but also to weather conditions. They should meet the applicable standards. If the employees are wearing protective clothing, helmets, or headphones, the communication system must also deal with such difficult conditions in the facility. Industrial intercom stations ensure clear, understandable voice transmission even in loud environments of up to 95dB. The large intercom panel is equipped with buttons that make it easy to use with protective gloves.

Intercoms ensure reliable transmission of information in crucial places of power plants or gas plants (entrances to the outside area, selected rooms, or car parks). The hands-free communication system can be operated by the user only by voice. It can also withstand disinfectants. The solution provides support for the disabled and can broadcast messages at emergency rally points. SOS columns can be equipped with built-in first aid kits and defibrillators.

As part of the facility's video surveillance system with automatic image analysis, we provide monitoring of the external area of the plants. Built-in, intelligent algorithms analyze the image and alert security personnel about detecting movement, staying in a forbidden zone, etc.

The monitoring functions are also used as part of the protection of the external area. It provides complete surveillance of the external area around the production facility and video recording of intrusions by perimeter protection systems that include fence cables, ground cables, or microwave barriers with a range of up to 500 m. The external area protection system is integrated with the video surveillance system.

Access to buildings, rooms, offices, and production areas, is secured by the access control system. It provides constant monitoring of the flow of people and materials within the premises of a power plant and managing access to keys. The electronic components of the card readers are encased in resin, which protects them from environmental conditions (IP64).

The advantage of the system is also its flexible expansion to new rooms or buildings. A perfect complement to the access control system is the option of complex guest service by the function of pre-preparation of access cards, booking an appropriate number of parking spaces, and monitoring the movement of guests around the facility.

The Unii intrusion detection system indicates unauthorized entries into the facilities of a power plant facilities or detection of people in the areas with restricted access - dangerous zones. Another functionality is the automatic arming and disarming of security zones based on the planned schedule. The entire system is managed from the level of visualization, keypads, or access control readers.

Advanced building systems for the energy sector offered by C&C Partners also include monitoring of environmental conditions in special rooms. The solution supports a wide range of gauges, including temperature, humidity, or flooding. The system also allows you to generate alarms in the case of critical conditions, e. g. too high temperature. The system provides automatic control of elements of other systems (e. g. switching on of fans).

The offer of C&C Partners also includes solutions that enable reading and visualizing weather conditions, such as: reading the thickness of snow cover on the roof of the power plant, etc. There is also an option to control building elements (e. g.: windows and doors, shutters).

The parking management solution allows you to manage access to the car park and limit the number of available spaces for individual groups of users (management, employees, guests, etc.). Access control to the car park is based on long-range readers or license plate analysis. Finally, communication with the concierge/reception desk is possible via the intercom system.

The C&C Partners solution provides integration with elevator control systems, fire alarm systems, key-management systems, and environmental conditions monitoring systems. Thanks to the wide integration possibilities of C&C Partners solutions, it is possible to effectively record and supervise the working time of employees. Wide integration possibilities allow keeping working time records. The record of working time of employees, divided into specific groups, supports organizing special activities, such as private visits, medical appointments, etc. The C&C Partners solution also has an advanced reporting system and the option of integration with HR and payroll systems used by universities.

Effective security management is primarily collecting information from all events in one place. For that purpose, there is a designed solution to monitor and manage all systems by one operator from the supervisor center. The WinGuard system is a PSIM + class software used to manage security processes in public facilities. The heart of the solution we offer is the WinGuard PSIM + platform, which has built-in management mechanisms for scattered, network security installations, consisting of many subordinate systems.

The solution we offer provides:

  • advanced redundancy models,
  • building site-specific procedures, as well as common procedures for the entire safety management system,
  • structured incident management,
  • monitoring of threats and stability of work of each of the elements constituting the safety system.

RENEWABLE ENERGY - WIND POWER PLANTS

Due to the dispersed structure of elements distributed in many locations, the operation of wind farms is complicated. Therefore, when the bottom line depends on the ability to keep turbines in good condition, risk and experimentation cannot be afforded.

Dedicated solution for the energy industry offered by C&C Partners will allow for constant monitoring of the wind farm operating conditions, and an overview of installation safety.

Below we present solutions for wind farms. We also invite you to contact our advisor to arrange a dedicated presentation.

Access to wind turbines is secured by the access control system. It provides constant monitoring of the flow of people in the individual facilities. The electronic components of the card readers are encased in resin, which protects them from environmental conditions (IP64). The advantage of the system is also its flexible expansion to new rooms or buildings. A perfect complement to the access control system is the option of remote granting or canceling access to the facilities for the individual users. That provides full information about who, when, and for how long has been in a given facility.

To strengthen the protection against unauthorized access, you can use double identification, which is carried out by an access card, a PIN code, fingerprint reading, or face analysis.

As part of the facility's video surveillance system with automatic image analysis, we provide monitoring of both the external area and the interior of wind turbines. Built-in, intelligent algorithms analyze the image and alert security personnel about detecting movement, staying in a forbidden zone, etc.

The Unii intrusion detection system indicates unauthorized entries into wind turbines. Another functionality is the automatic arming and disarming of security zones based on the planned schedule. The entire system is managed from the level of visualization, keypads, or access control readers.

Wind farms in Poland are usually constructed quite far away from other buildings. In such remote places, problems with access to the mobile telephone network are very likely to occur. A perfect solution to provide reliable communication in such places is an intercom communication system. The hands-free communication system can be operated by the user only by voice. It ensures the safety and comfort of work for employees working in wind turbines.

RENEWABLE ENERGY - PHOTOVOLTAIC FARMS

Photovoltaic power plants usually occupy a large area of at least 2ha and are located far away from other buildings. Additionally, the cost of such investment is relatively high. All of the above translates into the need for reliable protection and security of the installed devices. Complex protection of the farms is based on the installation of solutions enabling remote supervision and control over the security of the investment.

Below we present dedicated solutions offered by C&C Partners for PV farms. We also invite you to contact our consultant directly to discuss a specially prepared presentation for the requirements of photovoltaic farms.

The image from cameras installed on the farm, thanks to an artificial intelligence (AI) system, is analyzed automatically in real-time. If an intruder is detected, the alarm signal goes to the Surveillance Center, where the operator checks the authenticity of the alarm. In the event of a breach of the protected zone by unauthorized people, emergency intervention is initiated immediately. Remote verification of alarms based on a video alarm, thanks to the reduction of the unnecessary patrol interventions, significantly reduces the operating costs.

Reliable video surveillance technologies are supported by thermal imaging cameras that monitor the area with a range of 100, 400, 600, 800, and even 20,000 meters. The system independently detects every object approaching the fence, identifies it, and eliminates "false alarms".

When a threat is detected by vision or thermal imaging cameras, the operator of the system, supervising the safety of the photovoltaic farm, has the possibility of using a loudspeaker to send a voice message in order to deter potential intruders.

Management of security systems takes place from one place and is supervised by the operator 24/7. The images from the cameras are processed by the VMS image management system, which then forwards the information to the superordinate PSIM system. Here takes place the integration of data from all sensors and systems with the image from the cameras. Thanks to the structured incident management procedures, the system's operator can take appropriate steps, e.g. send a patrol to the site.
